Shawn Ray Denson

A very good net friend had this memorial made for Shawn. Thank you Charlotte, I really appreciate it.

MY LITTLE BOY

SHAWN LOVED LIFE AS WELL AS HIS FELLOW MAN.
WITH A HEART AS BIG AS "OUTDOORS"

HE WAS ALWAYS BRINGING HOME STRAYS...
FROM ANIMALS TO BOYS. ALL HE NEEDED TO KNOW
WAS, THAT SOMEONE WAS HAVING TROUBLE.

SHAWN LOVED COMPUTERS FROM AN EARLY AGE
AND THIS LOVE OF COMPUTERS, EVENTUALLY
TURNED INTO A CAREER.

HIS MAIN LOVE HOWEVER, WAS HIS SON.
FROM THE VERY BEGINNING HE BECAME
THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE.

ALTHOUGH INVOLVED IN HIS COMMUNITY
SHAWN WAS A FAMILY MAN.
HIS FAMILY MEANT EVERYTHING TO HIM AND
HE ESPECIALLY LOVED GOING TO
LAMPASAS AND VISITING HIS GRANDMOTHER,
PLAYING GAMES AND TALKING UNTIL
ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT.

I HAVE ALWAYS CALLED SHAWN
"MY LITTLE BOY",
HOWEVER, AT 6'8" AND 240#
THERE WAS NOTHING LITTLE ABOUT HIM.

LOVE

MOMA

The above was written for his memorial service and it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

When ever Shawn would get ready to leave
after visiting his father and I he'd always tell us

"See you later, bye"

Well, Shawn this time we must say, "See you later, bye".

The next pages contain original poetry.  The first is
A Mother's Tears
I wrote this one as a way of coming to grips with Shawn's death.

The next poem is entitled, "Uncle John Remembers"
This was written in memory of Shawn for his Uncle John
by Tommie Granger, a family friend and is very much appreciated.
