New Years is a time for renewal. Every year we promise ourselves that we will loose those extra pounds or spend less time surfing the net (yeah right!). The only problem is we get busy with living and forget all about the promises we made. Now here it is 2001 the first year in the New Millennium and it's time to begin the process all over again. This year I'd like to suggest that instead of making all those resolutions you know you won't carry though with how about trying to resolve to follow this list I have for you. It could make a big difference in each of our lives and the lives of those around us. My New Year's wish for each and
everyone of you is that you have a very safe, happy and prosperous New
Year and may the good Lord above watch over you and yours. Mary Bear | |

RESOLUTIONS FOR AVOIDING MISERY Choose to love—rather than hate. Choose to smile—rather than frown. Choose to build—rather than destroy. Choose to persevere—rather than quit. Choose to praise—rather than gossip. Choose to heal—rather than wound. Choose to give—rather than take. Choose to act—rather than delay. Choose to forgive—rather than curse. Choose to pray—rather than despair
